The brief.

Background

A portfolio project: a restaurant website we designed and built to show how a hospitality business can take orders and bookings online.

The challenge

Restaurants often take orders and table bookings over the phone and WhatsApp, which is hard to manage at busy times and easy to get wrong.

What we built

A warm, editorial website with a menu that does real work: guests filter by dietary needs, add extras and order ahead for pickup or delivery, or request a table. The front-of-house team handles orders and reservations from one admin screen.

  • A warm, editorial identity to match the food
  • Menu by category, with dietary filters and item extras
  • Order-ahead for pickup or delivery
  • Table reservation requests with seating preferences
  • Front-of-house admin for orders, reservations and the menu (not shown)
  • Order status updates emailed to customers

The screens.

Public screens only. A portfolio project designed and built by Ares to show how a restaurant site can take orders and bookings. The brand shown is part of the design exercise, not a client.
